I went through the MN School of Bartending certification with my 18 year old son.  He wants to do bartending as a summer/college job and I decided it would be fun to do it with him.
I'm blown away by the program.  It is 100% hands on work with guidance from in-person instructors as you complete milestones.  The whole program took us about 15 hours of in person time plus reviewing flash cards every other day (we made the flash cards). I had an amazing experience. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel comfortable asking questions and ease any nerves I may have had.
The environment is low pressure and you get to learn at whatever pace you are comfortable with. As long as you put in some effort, you will pass this course.
